In November 2025, Armenia recorded a new all-time high in the number of registered jobs, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a Cabinet meeting.
The Prime Minister said that in November 2025, the country recorded 814,818 registered salaried jobs. He noted that this figure is higher by 275,465 jobs, or around 50 percent, compared to November 2017.
“I am comparing it with November 2017 because that was the first November preceding the revolution,” the Prime Minister said.
The number of registered jobs also increased compared to November 2024, by 31,986 jobs, or about 4 percent.
The Prime Minister also addressed average salary indicators, noting that in 2025 the average salary amounted to 327,155 drams. This represents an increase of 158,421 drams, or about 93 percent, compared to November 2017.
According to him, salaries also increased compared to November 2024, by around 16,000 drams, or 5.1 percent. At the same time, the Prime Minister noted that annual inflation, according to the Statistical Committee, stood at 3.3 percent, meaning that wage growth exceeded the inflation rate.
The Prime Minister also recalled that the income tax rate has been reduced, which, in his assessment, has contributed to the growth of citizens’ real incomes.
Nikol Pashinyan noted that following the 2018 revolution, Armenia’s gross domestic product increased by around 50 percent, emphasizing that this represents real economic growth.
“This year’s growth indicators are also very important, and we are essentially confident that the revenue side of the 2025 state budget will be fulfilled,” the Prime Minister said.
