Mesrob II died of heart attack, funeral expected next Sunday – Agos

YEREVAN, MARCH 8, ARMENPRESS. Mesrob II’s funeral is expected next Sunday (March 17), Agos reported.

According to the report of the Istanbul newspaper, the cause of death of the Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople was heart attack.

Mesrob II died March 8 at the age of 62 following many years of suffering from dementia. He was in a coma for more than 10 years.
