YEREVAN, JANUARY 30, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan has held a meeting with Asian Development Bank (ADB) SeniorFinancial Sector Economist João Farinha-Fernandes to discuss issues concerning the development of a legislative package on Public–PrivatePartnership (PPP).
During the meeting Khachatryan addressed details of the development, as well as other related documents, and discussed several organizational matters, the ministry said in a press release. The sides exchanged ideas over the PPP regulation process.
Fernandes highly appreciated the cooperation and noted that working with ministry officials in charge of the PPP legislative package was a pleasure. The team of the ministry responsible for the issue is led by Khachatryan’s deputy Avag Avanesyan.
The roadmap of the development and adoption of the legislative package was presented.
The sides affirmed that it is necessary to complete the process as soon as possible – during the coming months.
The ADB delegation also discussed issues concerning training of experts and development of skills, recommending a number of options. They agreed to continue closely cooperating.
