Deputy PM, German ambassador discuss projects of mutual interest

Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan received Claudia Busch, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia, the government’s press service said in a statement.

The meeting was also attended by German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) Office Armenia Country Director Madeleine Rauschenberger and Zara Chatinyan, representative of the Armenian Office of the German Development Bank (KfW).

Welcoming the guests, the deputy prime minister highly appreciated the current dynamics of bilateral cooperation, emphasizing the importance of its continuous deepening in priority areas defined by the strategic agenda of the Armenia–Germany partnership.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the progress of development programs implemented in areas of mutual interest, including water resources management, modernization of irrigation systems, and the improvement of energy interconnection.
