Aram I received delegation of Belgian clergyman

ANTELIAS, JULY 10, ARMENPRESS. The Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia His Holiness Aram I received the clergyman representing different Belgian communities headed by bishopCharles-Clément Boniface. As “Armenpress” was informed from the Press Service of the Catholicosate, the main aim of the visit of the delegation was to make a closer acquaintance with the Christian community of Lebanon.

His Holiness gave precise information about the general activities and the mission of the Armenian Church presenting them particularly in the context of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Bishop Boniface gave his articles and lectures about the same topic to His Holiness.

The delegation expressed its solidarity to the Christian communities of the Middle East. The Patriarch stressed the requirement to deepen cooperation between Christian Churches of Europe and the Middle East.
