Aram I lauds Pope Francis’ bold reforms

Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia has extended condolences to the Vatican on the passing of Pope Francis.
In a letter sent to the Vatican State Secretary, Aram I said Pope Francis opened a new chapter for the Catholic Church and mentality with his bold steps aimed at reforming the Church.
Aram I praised the late Pope’s efforts to restore justice.
“With his exemplary modesty and humility, he rightfully became the People’s Pope,” Aram I said.
Pope Francis passed away on April 21 at the age of 88.
