YEREVAN, 25 APRIL, ARMENPRESS. Turkey is making great efforts to deny the Armenian Genocide and pressure those who support Armenian Genocide recognition. This is what Turkish professor Cem Terzi announced in Yerevan and apologized for what happened 100 years ago.

“We bow our heads and respect the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. We’re sorry, Armenians! The Turkish government is currently making great efforts to deny the Armenian Genocide. That’s Turkey’s propaganda. The government is doing everything it can to make sure the people follow its policy, and unfortunately, it currently has a great impact,”the Turkish professor said, as “Armenpress” reports.

According to Cem Terzi, confronting the past and the reality is a mandatory condition for Turkey’s democratization.
