Tigran Sargsyan’s participation in offshore scandal is not grounded: Hovik Abrahamyan

YEREVAN, APRIL 30, ARMENPRESS.The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan does not see any legal basis to accuse the former Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan in the offshore scandal. During the conversation with the Government at the National Assembly responding to the question of the Deputy of Armenian National Congress Faction Aram Manukyan on how he treats the fact that Tigran Sargsyan is involved in the offshore famous scandal, Hovik Abrahamyan noted that he did not hear any assessments by a legal structure according to which Tigran Sargsyan’s participation in the offshore scandal is grounded. “I have not heard any legal formulations and assessments which prove Tigran Sargsyan’s participation,” the Prime Minister said as reported by Armenpress. He underscored that the information spread about the former Prime Minister does not fit the reality.

According to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia he treats such phenomena negatively. “My position is that the Prime Minister and his Government should work transparently and refrain from such phenomena,” Hovik Abrahamyan said stressing that it will be his principle.
