Government submits application to host 'World Final ICPC 2025' in Armenia

YEREVAN, JULY 17, ARMENPRESS. Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister's Office, Arayik Harutyunyan, received the delegation led by the president of the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) Foundation, the Information and Public Relations Department of the Prime Minister's Office said.

Harutyunyan noted that Yerevan State University has participated in the International Programming Contest since 2001 and achieved an exceptional result in the “World Final ICPC” held in Luxor, Egypt, in 2023, which was the highest in Armenian history of participation in the competition.

According to the source, Harutyunyan emphasized the importance of the participation of other Armenian universities in the competition in recent years as an indicator of the efforts aimed at promoting the competition in Armenia. Harutyunyan noted that the Armenian government has submitted an application to host the "World Final ICPC 2025" in Armenia and, if accepted, is committed to organizing this prestigious event in accordance with all international standards.
