YEREVAN, MARCH 7, ARMENPRESS: An event dedicated to the memory of victims of pogroms of Armenians in Azerbaijan, took place in the building of Permanent Representation of the Hessen Federal Land in Berlin on March 6.
The Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Nagorno Karabakh Republic informed Armenpress that during the event NKR Permanent Representative in Germany Harutyun Grigoryan and the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia in Germany Vahan Hovhannisyan addressed the audience.
The legal aspects of the pogroms, committed against Armenians in Sumgait, were presented in detail by professor Otto Luchterhandt. Singer Artak Kirakosyan and violinist David Khachatryan performed at the event. Representatives of Armenian community, diplomatic, political and scientific circles were present at the event.
