YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 20, ARMENPRESS. The official opening of Yerevan Mall shopping centre will be held on February 21. The shopping centre complies with the European standards. As reports “Armenpress”, the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan paid a visit to the shopping centre on February 20. The President toured in the centre and talked to the employees. The construction of Yerevan Mall shopping centre is a major business project, which launched four years ago. The territory of the mall occupies 60 thousand square meters. The building is located in the Arshakunyats str. The shopping centre has a picturesque design. The interior of the building is ornamented with the cuneiform script dating back to the Urartian period.
Previously it was reported that prominent French hypermarket “Carrefour” will be opened in Yerevan Mall shopping center in September of the current year. In a conversation with “Armenpress” the Director of Yerevan Mall shopping center Vazrik Sekoyan stated that they have provided Carrefour with 10 thousand square meters territory of the centre in compliance with the investors’ standards and requirements. Among other things the Director of Yerevan Mall shopping center Vazrik Sekoyan underscored that the representatives of the company will take care of the hypermarket’s interior design.
The representative of “Carrefour” hypermarket stated that the French company is interested in the Armenian market and attaches high importance to the cooperation.
