Armenia's handball team won today the team of Uzbekistan (41:33), occupying the 2nd place in the traditional 2nd International Handball Tournament for RA Prime Minister's Cup. The Russian team became the winner of the tournament, which defeated the Georgian one in the last round with 65:23 score.
Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan attended the game at "Mika" gym. Governmental press service told Armenpress that the cup will be handed to the wining team by Tigran Sargsyan and Chairman of the European Handball federation Tor Lian.
The head of the government, expressing gratitude to the participants of the tournament, expressed gratitude for becoming the participants of this beautiful handball holiday organized in Armenia. "We hope that this tournament, which has already become traditional, will promote development of handball in Armenia and its popularity," said Tigran Sargsyan.
