Minister Sargsyan ordered heightened security measures near shopping malls, on roads, and in all crowded public areas to ensure safety and security.
Lauding the 24/7 patrols by police and first responders on highways and streets, the minister urged them to continue rapid responses to 911 calls in the changing weather conditions.
The minister said that ensuring public safety, especially during the New Year and Christmas holidays, requires a more coordinated approach, urging personnel to focus on preventing potential incidents and accidents.
Minister Arpine Sargsyan instructed the police to continue strict enforcement against lawbreakers, paying special attention to cases involving driving under the influence or operating vehicles without winter tires.
The minister wished the rescuers and police a safe and smooth service. After the inspection, the units moved to heightened duty.
