UNGA High-Level Week: Armenian Deputy FM delivers remarks at Women, Peace and Security side event

Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan participated and delivered remarks at the Ministerial-level Side Event on Women, Peace and Security during the UNGA High-Level Week in New York.
The Deputy Foreign Minister reiterated the commitment of the Government of Armenia to ensuring full and equal engagement of women in peace and security, conflict prevention and post-conflict processes, the foreign ministry said in a press release.
Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan drew the attention of the participants to the Third National Action Plan on the implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security.
The Deputy Foreign Minister also highlighted the importance of the cooperation with international partners within the framework of advancing the “Women, Peace and Security” agenda.
