Gaza death toll surpasses 62,000

The death toll in the Gaza Strip has surpassed 62,000, the majority of whom were women and children, since the beginning of the Iwar in October 2023. At least 156,230 others have also been injured, WAFA reported.

Within the past 24 hours, 27 Palestinians were killed and 281 injured while attempting to access humanitarian aid. This brings the total number of Palestinian aid seekers to 1,965, with 14,701 injuries recorded.

Hospitals in the Gaza Strip recorded five deaths over the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition, including two children, bringing the total number to263, including 112 children.
