Preliminary results: 76.84% voted in favor, 20.5% - against Constitutional Reforms

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS. According to the preliminary results of the Constitutional Reforms Referendum, 18 thousand 6 citizens or 76.84% of those participating in the referendum said “yes” to the reforms, 4 thousand 797 voters (20.5%) said “no” to the Constitutional Reforms. “Armenpress” reports that the data was presented by the Secretary of the Chairman of the Central Commission of Referendum Armen Smbatyan during the meeting with journalists. According to him, for now the results of 75 polling stations have been summed up.

According to the results of the 5 polling stations in Yerevan, 2251 voters voted “yes”, 601 – “no”.According to the results of the 6 polling stations in Aragatsotn region, 1023 voters voted “yes”, 452 – “no”.According to the results of one polling station in Ararat region, 349 voters voted “yes”, 39 – “no”.According to the results of 14 polling stations in Armavir region, 4645 voters voted “yes”, 1268 – “no”.According to the results of 5 polling stations in Gegharkunik region, 2566 voters voted “yes”, 444 – “no”.According to the results of 9 polling stations in Lori region, 2212 voters voted “yes”, and 465 – “no”. According to the results of 7 polling stations in Kotayk region, 1024 voters voted “yes”, and 219 – “no”. According to the results of 10 polling stations in Shirak region, 1082 voters voted “yes”, 454 – “no”. According to the results of 9 polling stations in Syunik region, 478 voters voted in favour, 58 – against. According to the results of 6 polling stations in Vayots Dzor region, 1746 voters voted in favour, 214 – against. According to the results of 3 polling stations in Tavush region, 830 voters voted in favour, 583 – against.
