Karina Ambartsumova – Russia’s Chess Champion!

YEREVAN, MAY 15, ARMENPRESS: Armenian WGM Karina Ambartsumova scored 9 points out of 11, solely took the first prize and gained the title of Russian Champion in the country’s Rapid Chess Championship that was held in St. Petersburg.

Armenpress reports that the Armenian Chess Federation informed about it.

Ambartsumova left behind 35 participants, 29 of which were holding international titles including 8 Grandmasters.
