Armenia wins first-ever medal at EKF Senior Karate Championships

Gor Nersisyan from the Armenian national men’s karate team has won the country’s first-ever medal in the 60th EKF Senior Karate Championships in Yerevan. 

Nersisyan defeated Slovakia’s Simon Seckar 5:2 in the 84kg category and won bronze.

Nersisyan’s bronze is post-Soviet Armenia’s first medal in the EKF Senior Karate Championships.
