Armenia’s Aleksandra Grigoryan wins bronze at 2025 IWF World Junior Weightlifting Championships

The Armenian junior weightlifting team won its first medal in the 2025 IWF World Youth and Junior Championships in Lima, Peru with Alexandra Grigoryan taking bronze in the women’s 55kg category.

The 19-year-old athlete won bronze with a total of 204 kg (88 kg in snatch and 116 kg in clean & jerk). Her clean & jerk performance earned her a small gold in that discipline.
