Armenia’s Chambers of Advocates signs agreement on creating KARPA union

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS: Chambers of Advocates of Armenia and France signed the agreement on creating KARPA international union (French model of KARPA advocate payment cash) at the course of the last annual general meeting of KARPA national union held in Marseille city of France. Press secretary of Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia Hayk Hakobyan stated in a conversation with “Armenpress” that several African states also signed the agreement on creating a union: Burkina Faso, Morocco, Ivory Coast and Madagascar.

During the ceremony the Chambers of Advocates of Montreal, Algeria, Oran, Belgium Flămânda community and Tunisia were under observers’ status. The motivation of union creation is the corruption and money-laundering risk reduction in the area of advocacy.
