YEREVAN, JUNE 13, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian National Football team should have won Malta, even if there were two footballers missing. As reported by Armenpress, this statement was made by the President of the Football Federation of Armenia Ruben Hayrapetyan. He underlined that our football players started the game with Malta as “super footballers”. “This is my personal opinion. Underestimating the rivals, the Armenian football players played with one foot. And during the match with Denmark they showed the game. And that was not heroism. Our team has got the potential to play well and win all the teams of the world”, - stated Ruben Hayrapetyan.
In the framework of the World Cup qualifying games the Armenian National Football team lost to the Malta team with the score of 0:1. On June 11 our team defeated the Denmark team with the score of 0:4. After the Armenia-Denmark match our team has 6 points and places the forth.
