European Union and European Parliament to have joint observation mission in Yerevan City Council Elections

YEREVAN, APRIL 20, ARMENPRESS: European Union and European Parliament are going to present with a joint observation mission during Yerevan City Council Elections. This has been noted by Emin Yeritsyan, President of Communities Association of Armenia, at April 20 press conference.
“Joint monitoring group of European Union and European Parliament will arrive in Armenia on April 30. Delegation consists of 14 observers. At this moment I can only say that delegation will be headed by an Englishman,” Yeritsyan said.
Yerevan City Council Elections will be held on May 5. Candidates will be struggling for 65 seats. Six parties and one alliance are in the race. Campaign launched on April 7.
