Armenia and Slovakia to cooperate in the military sphere

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 23, ARMENPRESS: The delegation headed by the Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan was in Slovakia November 22 on an official visit.

Press and Information Department of the Armenian Defense Ministry reported that during the visit Seyran Ohanyan met with his Slovakian counterpart and discussed a number of issues on bilateral cooperation.

Seyran Ohanyan and Lubomir Galko signed agreement on “Military Cooperation between the Governments of the RA and Slovakia” which intends cooperation in the following spheres – military education and specialized studies of military staff, military medicine, peacekeeping, etc.

During the visit Seyran Ohanyan also visited and put a wreath on the monument dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.

The delegation headed by the Armenian Defense Minister departed today from Slovakia to Hungary where issues on bilateral military cooperation will be discussed.
