BRICS countries call for maintaining ceasefire in Gaza

BRICS countries have called for the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to be maintained and for full humanitarian access to be ensured in the territory.

According to RIA Novosti, this is stated in the final declaration of the summit being held in India.

“We support the implementation of UN General Assembly and Security Council resolutions and call on all parties to ensure that the ceasefire is maintained and that humanitarian aid has full and unhindered access to the Gaza Strip,” the document states.
