Yerevan to replace illegal kiosks on Shinararneri Street with green spaces

Yerevan First Deputy Mayor Armen Pambukhchyan dismissed opposition concerns at a City Council meeting over the demolition of kiosks on Shinararneri Street, saying the illegally built structures on municipal land will be replaced with green spaces.

“These kiosks are built on municipal land. I don’t know what mechanisms were used to build them at the time, but we are now returning the entire area to the public. There should be a green space in place of these kiosks,” Pambukhchyan said.
