Ombudsperson Anahit Manasyan held a meeting with Ambassador of France Olivier Decottignies on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the country.
According to a readout from the Ombudsperson’s office, Manasyan highly valued the effective cooperation established between the Embassy of France in Armenia and the Human Rights Defender’s Institution, thanking the ambassador for his support and constructive engagement in the field of human rights protection.
During the meeting, the sides discussed a number of issues of mutual interest in the field of human rights protection and emphasized the importance of continuing and further developing the established cooperation.
Ambassador Olivier Decottignies thanked Manasyan for the effective cooperation and open and constructive dialogue, highly appreciating the activities and role of the Human Rights Defender’s Institution in protecting human rights.
“Anahit Manasyan attaches importance to effective and continuous cooperation with international partners,” the Ombudsperson’s office said.
