Defense minister meets outgoing French ambassador

Defense Minister Suren Papikyan held a farewell meeting with France’s Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies on August 26 on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission.

Minister Papikyan thanked the ambassador for the close cooperation during his tenure and wished him success in his future activities, the ministry said in a readout.

Minister Papikyan highlighted the achievements in Armenia-France cooperation in the field of defense, particularly in military-technical cooperation, military education and training, exchange of experience in various areas, joint exercises, and other fields.
