Speaker meets outgoing French ambassador

Speaker of Parliament Ruben Rubinyan held a meeting with French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission.

According to a readout from the Parliament’s press service, Speaker Rubinyan thanked the ambassador for his significant contribution to the development of ties between Armenia and France and wished him success in his future activities.

The ambassador, in turn, thanked the Speaker for effective cooperation.

The meeting addressed high-level bilateral relations and opportunities to deepen cooperation in various fields. In this context, the active role of parliamentary friendship groups was highlighted.

The sides expressed satisfaction with the prospects for developing the Armenia-France strategic partnership.

They also discussed issues related to regional developments.
