Illegally obtained assets worth $174,545,000 were recovered by the Republic of Armenia in 2025, Prosecutor-General Anna Vardapetyan said at the Cabinet meeting.
The recovered properties include kindergarten buildings, a stadium, monuments, parks, and land plots across the country, encompassing several hectares.
The total could increase further next week, as more cases are currently in process.
Vardapetyan noted that one high-profile case involved a former governor of Ararat Province. A land plot of over 13,000 hectares was unlawfully granted to the former Republican official and another individual as gratis lease for 49 years, she said. The land has been recovered and attached to the ministry of environment.
