Ethiopia’s new ambassador presents copy of credentials to Deputy FM

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan received the newly appointed Ambassador of Ethiopia, Genet Teshome Jirru (stationed in Moscow), on the occasion of the presentation of the copy of his credentials.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the close historical ties between the peoples of Armenia and Ethiopia, emphasized the importance of enhancing economic cooperation and increasing interaction between the two friendly countries, and reviewed the implementation of agreements reached earlier this year during political consultations held in Addis Ababa, the Foreign Ministry said in a press release.
