Vahan Kostanyan, Lou Qinjian stress importance of increasing Armenian exports to China

Armenia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Vahan Kostanyan received Lou Qinjian, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China and head of the China-Armenia Friendship Group.

According to a statement issued by Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, the two sides discussed a wide range of issues on the Armenia-China bilateral agenda.

They addressed steps aimed at expanding and developing cooperation in the areas outlined in the Joint Statement between the Republic of Armenia and the People’s Republic of China on the Establishment of a Strategic Partnership, adopted by the Armenian Prime Minister and the Chinese President in 2025.

The two sides highlighted the role of interparliamentary cooperation in developing bilateral relations and stressed the importance of increasing trade, including exports of Armenian-made goods to China.
