The ninth China International Import Expo (CIIE 2026) is taking place in Shanghai, China, on November 5–10, aiming to promote international trade, expand economic cooperation and support the sustainable development of small and medium-sized enterprises.
Armenia’s Ministry of Economy said the country is once again participating with a joint national pavilion this year, showcasing the products and production capabilities of 14 Armenian companies.
“Representatives from 162 countries are participating in the exhibition, which brings together 4,142 foreign companies. At an event promoting national pavilions during the exhibition, the Ministry of Economy presented Armenia’s economic potential, investment opportunities and business environment, highlighting the country’s potential as an attractive investment destination,” the ministry said.
The ministry also said that Armenia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to China, Vahe Gevorgyan, visited the Armenian national pavilion. He toured the pavilion, viewed the range of products presented by Armenian companies and learnt about their distinctive features and production capabilities. He also enquired about the companies’ operations, the competitive advantages of the products on display and the prospects for promoting Armenian products in the Chinese market.
