Head of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) and OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ignazio Cassis has begun his visit to Armenia.
On Thursday morning, Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade held a one-on-one meeting with Cassis in Yerevan.
Cassis will also meet with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the FDFA said earlier.
Discussions will focus on the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, regional cooperation, and the role of the OSCE, which is chaired by Switzerland this year.
