Plug and Play International Incubation Program officially launched in Engineering City

The official opening ceremony of the Plug and Play International Incubation Program took place in Engineering City on October 17, with the participation of the Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia Mkhitar Hayrapetyan.
According to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, in his opening speech, Minister Hayrapetyan highlighted the long-term involvement of the Plug and Play international accelerator in technological ecosystem, noting its positive impact on the development of the sector.
The minister emphasized the latest data from the Global Startup Ecosystem Index, according to which Armenia improved its ranking by three positions in 2024 compared to 2023.
“The presence of an international accelerator in Armenia is of great importance. It aligns with our strategic goal of bringing new knowledge and experience to Armenia,” he noted.
The event was also attended by Sascha Karimpour, Managing Director of Plug and Play Germany, and Alfredo Gomez Soria, Director of Corporate Relations.
During the event, 20 startups selected within the framework of the program were presented: Aeda Wallet, AgroLink, BarControl (InvTech LLC), Biogen Nanotechnologies, Brain Mapping Research Center, COPA, Expath, Gampr.ai, Grintraq, HICARE GROUP, HogaTAR, Kartes Analytica, LitArchive, rBlox, SoundGate, StepX Armenia, TAOS-Health Risk Management, Testops, TopMessage, and TrainForge.
According to the ministry, a three-year cooperation has been launched with the Plug and Play international acceleration organization. The program envisions implementing two incubation, two pre-acceleration, and two acceleration stages, each involving 15–20 startups.
