In Armenia, Eleveight AI’s first AI Factory, located in Gagarin, is cooled with zero water consumption. There is no water in the chips, no water in cooling towers, and no water is used from Lake Sevan, any Armenian river, or the municipal drinking water network. The company deliberately built it this way. This is not a feature added later, but a fundamental engineering principle around which the entire factory was designed from day one.
The Water Usage Effectiveness (WUE) of Eleveight AI’s AI Factory is effectively 0 liters/kWh. Its Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) is 1.1, placing the factory among the world’s most efficient AI data centers. Throughout all of the company’s current and future development phases, water will never be part of the cooling system. Others use an artificial, specially formulated synthetic engineering fluid that never comes into contact with drinking water, does not evaporate, and does not enter natural water bodies. These are entirely different categories with different environmental impacts, and confusing them is precisely the main reason for public concern.

When higher-density AI computing workloads require liquid cooling at the chip level, the factory will use a fully closed-loop cooling system with a dielectric coolant. It is a sealed, non-water-based synthetic fluid that is filled once and circulated for years without evaporation or loss.
