A magnitude‑2.9 earthquake has struck near the town of Spitak in Lori Province, the Armenian Seismic Protection Agency reported.
The quake occurred at 01:40 on June 28, registering 8 km north of Spitak at a depth of 10 km.
It was felt in Spitak—and in the villages of Lernapat, Arjut, Arevashogh, Darpas, and Gogaran—with an intensity of 2–3 on the MSK scale.
