Former Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan has been arrested amid an ongoing criminal investigation, the Anti-Corruption Committee has said.
Abrahamyan, who served as Prime Minister from 2014 to 2016 under President Serzh Sargsyan, is facing several counts of money laundering and abuse of power charges. He is also accused of illegal entrepreneurship.
