YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of the effectiveness of justice and the fight against corruption in strengthening public trust.

"The most dangerous thing that can happen to all of us is for people to start thinking that all of this is happening due to a lack of political will to establish justice, legality, and fight  against corruption. That would be the most dangerous scenario," Pashinyan said at the ceremonial session dedicated to the Anti-Corruption Committee Employee Day.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the significant role of the right to defense in the foundation of justice.

"Justice is when a person has the opportunity to have a defender, present facts, and even defend themselves publicly," Pashinyan stated.

He further stressed the importance of maintaining transparency and legality in the justice system, underlining the need to strengthen public trust.
