Speaker Alen Simonyan urges opposition to change tactics and collaborate

 YEREVAN, OCTOBER 1, ARMENPRESS. Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan has suggested that the opposition change its tactics, discuss the historical processes taking place in the country together, and try to assist the government in this matter.

Simonyan made these remarks at the National Assembly, addressing the opposition's statements regarding the process of signing a peace treaty with Azerbaijan and the delimitation of the border. He urged the opposition factions "Armenia," "With Honor," and the Armenian Revolutionary Federation to reconsider their strategies.

"You are an opposition government in Armenia. You also have power. A historic process is underway that will be irreversible. Let's understand each other, discuss together, and try to help us solve this issue," said the Speaker of the National Assembly.
