Security Council Secretary, COEST delegation discuss Armenia-EU agenda

Secretary of the Security Council Alen Simonyan held a meeting with a visiting delegation of the Council of the European Union’s Working Party on Eastern Europe and Central Asia (COEST), which included representatives of more than two dozen EU member states, the European External Action Service and the European Commission.

According to a readout from the Security Council Office, the meeting focused on the Armenia-EU relations agenda and issues related to deepening ties.

The Secretary also presented the working group delegation with steps aimed at institutionalizing the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and briefed them on other issues of regional interest.
