Slovakia to host Armenia-Azerbaijan foreign ministerial NK talks

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Armenian FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov will soon hold a meeting in Bratislava to discuss the NK conflict settlement prospects, OSCE Chairperson in Office, Slovakia’s FM Miroslav Lajčák told the Voice of America.

“I expect to host the two foreign ministers in Bratislava soon,” he said.

Lajčák said he appreciates efforts made by the Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders in the direction of settling the conflict. “This year we saw positive signs, dialogue between leaders, as well as dialogue on the foreign ministerial level. At the same time concerning episodes have been recorded at the Line of Contact which led to human losses. However, currently the situation is seemingly stable”.

The OSCE Foreign Ministerial Council session is scheduled for December 5-6 in Bratislava.
