Opposition Strong Armenia faction leader meets Russian envoy

Opposition Strong Armenia faction leader MP Narek Karapetyan and MP and Deputy Speaker Aram Vardevanyan met with Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopyrkin.

According to a readout from parliament’s press service, the meeting discussed issues related to the prospects for further deepening and expanding relations between Armenia and Russia, including in the context of interparliamentary cooperation.

The sides expressed readiness to continue constructive dialogue and support initiatives and steps conducive to bilateral cooperation.

The meeting also touched upon geopolitical developments.
