Georgian double murder suspect apprehended by Armenian police in Yerevan

YEREVAN, MARCH 1, ARMENPRESS. A Georgian national wanted in suspicion of double murder and illegal possession of firearms has been apprehended by Armenian police in Yerevan shortly before midnight February 28.

Police said the suspect is a 38-year old citizen of Georgia who was declared wanted by Tbilisi Police Department since February 25. Police released the identity of the suspect only as Shota Ts.

Moreover, according to police the Georgian national appeared in Armenia illegally since he hasn’t passed through any border checkpoint. The matter is being investigated.
