YEREVAN, JULY 9, ARMENPRESS. The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan received a delegation headed by the US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Armenia Kristina Kvien. According to the statement from the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Armenia.

Welcoming the guests, Anna Vardapetyan emphasized that the US Embassy in Armenia is a reliable partner of the Prosecutor General's Office, with which cooperation is carried out in various areas, including the continuous development of the professional knowledge and skills of prosecutors.

The Prosecutor General of the Republic touched upon the decision of the competent US court as a result of effective cooperation between the Prosecutor General's Office and the competent US authorities within the framework of the criminal case initiated in Armenia.

Let us recall that by the decision of the US court, an agreement was reached on the confiscation and sale at the highest market price of a private house in Los Angeles (USA) belonging to the family of former Armenian Finance Minister Gagik Khachatryan, which is considered property of criminal origin. In this context, Anna Vardapetyan thanked all partners of the competent US authorities for their efforts and effective cooperation aimed at strengthening public confidence in justice.
