U.S. Ambassador highlights commitment to Armenia-Azerbaijan peace

United States Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien said on Wednesday that Washington remains committed to efforts to establish peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Ambassador Kvien made the remarks at the AIISA Security Forum titled Armenia and Peace: At the Intersection of Risks and Opportunities, attended by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and other top officials.
“We remain committed to working with Armenia, Azerbaijan, and other regional partners to ensure that all the steps we have taken reach their logical conclusion, thereby bringing about a just and lasting peace and prosperity for Armenia and Azerbaijan,” the ambassador said.
The U.S. Ambassador also expressed hope that this step will usher in a new era, positioning Armenia as both an economic hub and an information technology center for the region.
