Boxer Aram Avagyan launches with victory at Rio-2016

YEREVAN, AUGUST 10, ARMENPRESS. On the fifth day of the 31st Summer Olympics Aram Avagyan was the first who started the struggle, “Armenpress” was informed by the ANOC.

At the boxing hall situated in Rio's central venue Aram Avagyan faced Japan's Arashi Morisaka in the first bout and won 2-1.

Avagyan's next opponent is Ireland's Michael Conlan. The bout is set for August 14.
