YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 3, ARMENPRESS. Decrease in acute respiratory diseases is noticed in Armenia, ArmenianHealth Minister Armen Muradyan said in the question and answer session with the government in the National Assembly answering to PAP secretary Vahe Enfiajyan’s question. “At this moment around 570 people with acute respiratory diseases are registered in hospitals and about 300 patients with pneumonia,” the minister emphasized, “Armenpress” reports.
The minister added that about 50% fewer cases of hospitalization for acute respiratory diseases were registered. “At this moment we come to a period which is usually noticeable,” the minister added.
He emphasized that total of 19 cases of death was registered which was caused by an illness and later applying. “A lot of work has been done for each of them in intensive care units but unfortunately their lives could not be saved,” the minister detailed.
Regarding medication, the minister mentioned that the rumors are not true, as if free medicines were not provided to patients.
