Armenian, Belgian PMs hold meeting in Tirana

Within the framework of the European Political Community Summit, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan met with Prime Minister of Belgium Bart de Wever, the Armenian Prime Minister's office has said in a statement.

The interlocutors discussed issues on the agenda of Armenia-Belgium cooperation, emphasizing the importance of consistent development and deepening of political and economic relations. In this context, the Prime Ministers of the two countries attached importance to maintaining high-level active contacts and continuous dialogue.

Steps to strengthen Armenia-European Union cooperation were discussed. Belgian Prime Minister Bart de Wever reaffirmed his country's support for the development of Armenia-EU relations.

The Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process was also touched upon during the meeting.
