Mihran Harutyunyan winner of “Dan Kolov-Nikola Petrov” tournament

YEREVAN, JANUARY 31, ARMENPRESS. The international wrestling tournament “Dan Kolov-Nikola Petrov” goes on in Bulgaria. On January 30 the silver medalist of the first European Games, Greco-Roman wrestler Mihran Harutyunyan came out at the 71kg weight class.

“Armenpress” was informed from the official website of ANOC that in the first fight he won 8:0 Bulgaria’s Maykal Izmirliski. Harutyunyan’s next opponent was Italy’s Davide Cascavila over whom the Armenian wrestler gained absolute advantage. To qualify for the finals Harutyunyan competed with Algeria’s Boujemline Akrem beating the rival 11:0. In the finals Harutyunyan defeated 4:0 Egypt’s Adham Ahmed Saleh and became a winner of the tournament. Maksim Manukyan and Artur Shahinyan (85kg) will compete on January 31.
