YEREVAN, DECEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Patriarch Kirill of Moscowand AllRussia decorated president and founder of “Tashir” group Samvel Karapetyan with Order of Saint blessed Prince Daniel of Moscow of the third degree for his contribution in the construction ofSaints Cyril and Methodius Cathedralin Dubrovka. “Armenpress” reports tashir.ru informs about this.
The new cathedral in Moscow is located in Dubrovka. It was built to commemorate the tragic events of 2002. It is the first church the construction of which was implemented within the framework of the project of building 200 cathedrals initiated by the Patriarch of Moscowand AllRussia.
This is not the first prize awarded to Samvel Karapetyan. Patriarch Kirill decorated him with medal of Glory and Honesty of the Russian Orthodox Church of the second degree in 2012 for his contribution in the reconstruction of Saint Nicholas Cathedral.
In 2001 Patriarch Alexei IIofMoscow and All Russia decorated Samvel Karapetyan with Order of Saint blessed Prince Daniel of Moscow of the second degree for the reconstruction of the church of Nedelnoye village in Kaluga region.
